Dr. Karen Meghan Ayotte, MD

After graduating from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1999, I chose a career in Diagnostic Radiology. Due to my particular interest in the pediatric population I chose to sub specialize in Pediatric Radiology. I am board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with an additional Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology. While serving as an active duty Air Force physician, I treated both adults and children. Throughout my military service I served as an expert witness in the field of pediatric radiology in cases of alleged child maltreatment. As a member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology, I am dedicated to providing cutting edge imaging to children while also minimizing radiation exposure. As a parent, I know that your children are your greatest treasure. When a child is ill, it is stressful on the entire family. I strive every day to help minimize that anxiety and help your child's physician reach an accurate diagnostic and therapeutic plan.
