I am so happy to have found Dr. Barbosa. She is warm, caring and truly a strong advocate for her patients. She brings innovative techniques and progressive ideas to her practice. I had breast conserving surgery followed by accelerated partial breast radiation with a very good result given the location of my tumor and some complicating factors. I highly recommend her.

It's so great to be referred to a specialist that is not only incredibly knowledgeable in their field, but in it for the best interests of the patient. Dr. Barbosa and her entire staff make you feel extremely well taken care of. They were all super understanding when I showed up barely on time for my appointment and had forgotten all my new patient forms. I highly recommend this provider.

Dr. Barbosa was wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does but what I was most impressed with was her care and consideration for the patient. She answered every little question and was very open about what could be done and what needed to be done. In a field where it is so easy for a doctor to capitalize on patientâ??s fear it was amazing to have someone that was very honest and informative and was so open to having a discussion about what to do next instead of being told what to do. I never once felt rushed by her office or in an appointment. Dr. Barbosa and Jody both made me feel comfortable and welcome at the office. A really great experience all the way around!

Excellent Surgeon & Caring Doctor

My elderly mother was a patient of Dr. Barbosa's for treatment of a rare type of breast cancer. Words are inadequate to convey how kind and compassionate Dr. Barbosa was to my mom, myself, and the rest of our family. She provided excellent physical care, and always took as much time as needed to answer questions and communicate in terms my mom and the whole family could understand. Her positive and warm manner toward my mom helped alleviate the fears and anxiety that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Dr. Barbosa collaborated with a number of other oncology specialists, and investigated a clinical research trial for my mom. She is a dedicated and persistent advocate for her patients, and practices a holistic approach to care. Sadly, my mom did not survive, but I am eternally grateful that she had such trust in her doctor, and truly felt listened to and cared for. Dr. Barbosa was professional and also very personable and caring with myself and our family following my mom's passing. She is… truly an exceptional physician. My mom loved going to see her; there was always laughter and genuine connection. I feel we were beyond lucky for my mom to have been under Dr. Barbosa's care, and I highly recommend her to others!
