She is not willing to listen to the patient's concern or talk about any other possibility when she makes up her mind. She was very self centered and not concerned with her impact on me as her patient. She makes up her mind the first time you see her, and will NEVER accept any other possibilities, despite many circumstances that she refuses to acknowledge. Would not recommend her.

Dr Bauer diagnosed my Mother's lung cancer after several other Doctor's were unable to pinpoint the issues that she had been having. She spent over an hour explaining to us what we would be facing and all the options before us. She is so knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone!

My father went to see her as a pulmonary patient. We were immediately told she wanted to check for cancer after a PT scan by doing a bronchioscope. That of course sent us into a panic with hearing that dreaded word. We agreed to the scope. When scheduling the procedure we felt under the circumstances that the scope would be scheduled quickly. We waited almost 3 weeks. After the scope, we still did not have a definite answer and we were referred to another dr to perform surgery using a robot. Well after that ball was dropped on that drs end, we said enough was enough. ..WE NEED ANSWERS! We switched hospitals and drs. Best move ever. We got answers in the first visit that we couldn't get in 2.5 months with the other 2 drs. Get another opinion because cancer doesn't wait on the drs schedule or guesswork!
