Dr. Karen Rose Beasley, MD

Most unethical and dishonest doctor ever. She is terrible. Do not get treated by this woman or you will leave with more trauma.

She falsified my medical records in order to illegally put me in a hospital for filing a complaint against her. Aftwr I threatened to sue and began the process, she sold her business and retired. She still hasn't renewed her license, but if she does I will do my best to protest and make sure she never practices again. She contributes to wrecking my life.

She's incompetent and not to be trusted.

Best advice...find another doctor .

I have been a patient for the last 3 years and am very happy with the care I received. She is very caring and listens to her patients in determining the best course of treatment.

I never write negative reviews on principle because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but Dr. Beasley is the most unprofessional doctor I've ever seen, and she is rude. A few days before my scheduled appointment, her office called to reschedule it for the following day. Fine. I receive the reminder emails and everything. The day of the appointment, I show up ten minutes early and she's all flustered saying she had just fired her office help and my appointment had been cancelled. She acted like she was being all nice to work me in three hours from then. So I wait around for three hours, then she tells me I have to pay in full upfront because my insurance doesn't cover mental health. My husband had verified with several people at our insurance that confirmed that we have no out of pocket cost. I was really calm in explaining this, but she got defensive, insisting that the office help (whom she'd just fired) never made mistakes. I'll spare you the rest of the annoying… encounter... I couldn't believe that this peson who supposedly helps people with mental health could be so rude and unprofessional to a brand new patient. She did not apologize for wasting my time or anything--just acted like I was being unreasonable for wanting her to double check my coverage.

Save yourself the money, frustration, time, and emotional drain and go somewhere else.

If I could give no stars I would. Dr Beasley is judgmental and has no empathy. There is a difference between being firm and honest and uncaring and rude. If you dare ask a question or say you don't want to be on the medications she wants to prescribe you just won't get better and are in denial. She also does not take calls and doesn't have voicemail. And when a scheduling conflict came up she ignored requests for a weeks worth of medicine that is not a controlled substance.

There are so many better doctors in the area. This lady was unprofessional,unkind, passive aggressive and cruel. She hasn't dealt with her own issues and problems in her own life so she projects onto the patient. The diagnosis she gave me and other information was wrong another psychiatrist told me after I stopped seeing her. I walked out confused and in a lot of pain from her cruel comments. She needs to consider another trip to medical school and maybe charm school? The other negative reviews are true!!!

I needed Dr Beasley at a critical time in my life. I had too much going on for me to handle - and I wasn't doing well with all of it piling up on me. She helped me get a handle on things in a few months. I saw her for almost 18 months, and we bid goodbye to each other recently as things are going smoothly for me. If I ever need her, I will go back to see her right away. I highly recommend Dr Beasley!
