Dr. Karen Elaine Beckman, MD

I recently visited Riverside Pediatrics' new office on Vitti Street in New Canaan for a quick urgent care visit and was so thrilled I decided to switch my children's pediatric care to that office. I stopped in because of the walk in urgent care hours. My child had a sore throat and just needed a strep test. The office was gorgeous and clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr. Beckman who was great with my daughter (who is NOT a fan of strep tests!), very thorough and gave excellent care. I was even able to get her amoxicillin prescription filled in the office and the friendly nurse gave my daughter her first dose. (my daughter is also not a fan of taking medicine so this was a big help!). I was so impressed by every aspect of the visit from the convenience, to the level of care that I decided to switch all of my children to this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Beckman and Riverside Pediatrics of New Canaan.

Dr. Beckman is the best! She spends so much time with my kids and me. She's so thorough and nice. We feel so comfortable with her. Her advice is always so helpful. I don't know what I would do without her!

I am a busy mom with 4 children. Dr. Beckman always gives the correct diagnosis and treatment the first time. I never have to wait in her office. It's easy to get an appointment. she is great with my kids. My kids and I all enjoy our visits with her. I even get my own flu shot at her office! The after hours is so convenient, especially when my kids have after school sports and I can't get to the office until afterwards. I love Dr. Beckman and rest of the doctors and staff at Riverside Pediatrics. It really is a unique practice.

Dr. Beckman has helped me through some very difficult times with my children. She is incredibly smart and her advice has always been right on. She has diagnosed my children correctly when other doctors (from my previous pediatric practice and the E.R. ) have missed the ball. When I have had behavioral issues with my children, her advice is no nonsense and always has worked! She has been a tremendous help to me and my family. I cannot thank her enough!

Dr. Beckman has been caring for my two children for the last 2 years. She is wonderful and always available for any questions or concerns my husband or I have. We have received nothing but the best care from her and her staff!
