Dr. Karen S Bell, MD

Dr Bell is very personable and friendly. I am unable to come to the doctor very often so when I do I often have a long list of medical issues that need to be addressed. She is efficient and is able to attend to all of my needs. I have been a patient of Dr. Bell for 5 years now and am thankful to be seen by her.

I saw Dr. Bell and1'to she was great but too busy to add me to her practice. I then began seeing Ms. Melnick, a Nurse Practitioner for my health care. In the beginning, it was okay. It deteriorated quickly though and every encounter with that office was stressful. I am not able to drive but Ms. Melnick insisted that I go to the office to sign for a prescription monthly, even though had been on that medicine with no issues for years. I had dangerously high blood pressure and Melnick did not do anything to treat it, rather gave me one pill to bring it down but provided no long term care. I ended up in the hospital with congestive heart failure because I had another torn meniscus and Melnick told me I could take Advil or Aleve in higher quantities but that is a problem with congestive heart disease. Long story short, I have not felt that I have received even adequate medical care.
