Dr. Karen Marie Anstey

I first saw Dr anstey a year ago, when she first dismissed my life long symptoms, but at least ordered a respiratory evaluation. She had no prior knowledge of available medications without allergens or how to obtain them (I figured out that stuff on my own through a patient group) When I went back to her after MCAS workup from my GI and PCP, She was non empathetic, and had poor bedside manner. On two occasions she made statements that made me feel like she did not want to have a complex patient like me in her office. She also stated that she believes that most MCAS dx's are incorrect. It's hard to get care from a person that doesn't believe in your symptoms or condition. She requested unnecessary testing that requires the patient to be in flare to be accurate, even though I've met All secondary evaluation requirements and other diagnostics for MCAS dx. She may be fine for basic patient care of general seasonal allergies, But you could probably get the same care from your primary for… such things.
