Dr. Karen Connally Connally Frank, DO

Never reviews your record before coming into the exam room. Very condescending. Is offended if you ask questions. When you tell her of a side effect to any drug you're taking, she brings out her book and tells you that side effect is not listed. She had me on 2 strong BP drugs which were not needed. I was scheduled for surgery with another office but she wanted me to have a stress test first which she was supposed to call and schedule. The order was never called in. When I called her office to see why, they said she had gone on vacation and they had no record for an order Meanwhile the surgeon's office canceled the surgery. When I went in the next visit, she didn't even know I hadn't had the surgery. She acted like it was me that messed up. When I told her what happened, she seemed offended and suggested I see another doctor in a catty way and told me that "she couldn't make me happy" and repeated that 2 or 3 times. I just sat there in shock. I couldn't believe what I was… hearing.

Office is busy, not enough phone access, can not easily get through

Very hard to get a appt. I had to wait 2 months. The did not hardly spend time with. She had a attitude that she could not be bothered. She seemed to confused. I will not go back to her. Staff was really rude to me. Talked to me like I was a child.

I recently moved to Arizona from Texas. I have been seeing Dr. Karen, just as well visits... and to keep up on my health. She has an awesome rapport, and a wonderful sense of humor. She's a very nice, and very very thorough physician, and I encourage all of my family members to go to her!!! She's the bomb!!! :)

Unfortunately this Dr. Never seems to never really have any past recall of your history. Not sure if she reviews your records at all. I feel very uncertain of her quality of care. I keep putting off needed change.

Dr. Connally Frank has cared for both my parents for over 10 years now, believe me this is no easy task. She is outstanding with the elderly population, she listens, shows compassion and spends as much time as needed. I would and have recommend her to many people. She is also my doctor!

Dr. Connally-Frank cared for both of my elderly parents for over 5 years before their deaths. She was always willing to work them into her schedule (more than my doc ever will!) as they needed care. Most importantly, she was upfront and matter of fact with them and they were both hard-headed and very difficult to deal with as their health issues increased. She ordered testing as needed and was very diligent about following up with their problems. Both of them died from cancer but it was properly and promptly diagnosed and referrals were made by Dr. Connally-Frank to the very best specialists for each of them. I recommend her most highly. Her staff, while busy, was always good about calling back with answers to many many questions and problems. She provided caring and compassionate service in ways that most doctors nowadays just do not. I am guessing most of the negative reviews posted here were posted by one disgruntled patient.

Truly shows interest and compassion when listening to issues and concerns. Orders testing quickly.

Dr. Connally-Frank is much too busy to spend quality time with me to figure out what is wrong with me. I brought in my daughter to be present during my visit since I have a hard time understanding what is being said to me. She was rude, dismisive and condescending to both of us. I would not recommend her for anything.

Dr. Connally-Frank made a serious misdiagnosis because she was too busy and too unconcerned to examine me and take seriously a manifestation of a serious, but common, digestive tract problem. When questioned, her manner was brusque, harsh and condescending. Her staff is rude and just as abrasive as she is. I would recommend anyone who is concerned about their health to avoid this unprofessional and uncaring physician. I wish I had spent the time with a better doctor rather than waiting for her or her staff to return calls, and waiting to be seen. This doctor should lose her license to practice in my opinion.
