She is the best ob/gyn ever. Fantastic doctor. Very efficiently run office.

Dr. Karen T Gotwalt was my primary doctor I choose for the care of my baby during my pregnancy. I visited her once a month and had received all of my babies health care and we'll being regarding my baby. 33 weeks into my pregnancy I was told I had a low blood count along with she thought I had high sugar levels so I was asked to return to office for further testing . The following week I returned for a normal visit and as told at 35 weeks that my baby was dead. I was instructed to go to hospital we're I would b admitted and that was on a Monday I was induced that night by her on call staff that following Wednesday I gave birth to a still born baby with the help of a RN and doctor who was training with guidance of DR. Gotwalt a partner who over saw the birth of my child as well. the point I'm getting to is being my primary doctor and the only one who had knowledge of me and my child's condition I did not receive a call of concerns or a visit from her until that following Friday as I was… making my exit out of hospital. Then she asked me how many pounds and had the wrong day of my delivery and had. No real knowledge of my child had me outrage . how can the only person I trusted my unborn baby with not been present at the birth or at least sent her condolence it was more like I screwed up and I don't want to face the patient. I would not recommend anyone to her I feel that more test should have been maintained for me and my baby . I don't think he had a fair chance of life nothing was visible being the cause of death and I feel that I should have been induced sooner if she thought my blood was low but I guess that would have took to much time out her day. Her staff had explain it was her day off and I replied I've been her since Monday so I guess I caught her on vacation week. She does not care overall about the development of baby nor does the health of her patients mean anything especially if she's off that day.

I would not choose her or refer anyone to her. I had an ultrasound. There was something unusual, I thought, about it. She never contacted me to say otherwise. My daughter was stillborn. The only reason she has one star from me is the computer didn't let me submit without a star.
