Love Dr. Griffith when I am able to see her. Lately, my children haven't been allowed to see her when we go in for sick visits. I've had to go in several times for my daughter for the same thing. The nurse practitioner actually told me she had no idea what it was and they STILL wouldn't let me see the doctor. The staff can be incredibly rude at times. However, Dr. Griffith has a wonderful bedside manner, is caring and listens intently to the kids. So if you can get past the staff....

Dr. Griffith is wonderful. She has the best bedside manner with my children and when speaking with me about them. She addresses all your concerns and questions. I would recommend her to another parent seeking a great pediatrician.

Dr. Karen Griffith is knowledgeable, kind and excited about kids. My children love her and so do we. Before the kids were born we researched Dr's and had an opportunity to get into 2 closed practices where the doctors are known for their impressive experience and expertise, what we found with them was that they had no bedside manner! With Dr. Karen Griffith we got those things plus an incredible bedside manner. Don't let her few years at the practice deceive you, this practice wouldn't have allowed her in if she wasn't the best!!! (And she is!!!)

I've called 3 or 4 times after hours /on weekends for my son and not once has any physicain from this Utica Pediatrics been on call to see him. He was seen by another practice all together. Kind of make me wonder why have a Primary care Pediatrician, when I see a different group during an emergency. On one visit the doctor provided (what seemed to be obvious) inaccurate medical information to "Mom". So either she thought that MOM was stupid or she is not that smart either way, very scary experience. Thanks to MOM requesting specialist referral - care is on the right track.
