Dr. Karen Hill-Garrett, MD

Seeing her was a waste of time. I got nowhere and was sent to so many specialists with no results.

Dr Hill-Garret was extremely patronizing and rude about my anxiety issues, going so far as to say I didn't have it and that it was all an act. She also tried to diagnose me with ITP, which would have ruined my life, when I simply have large platelets. Awful Doctor.

I wouldn't go back. I went to an internist so I wouldn't have to go to a specialist and she said on the first visit she would send me to a specialist.

The earlier review, regarding refers to other doctors when not necessary, was very helpful. Nice to know when you arenâ??t the only one experiencing the problem. Sent emails saying tests were okay when there weren't. When I got my copy I found problems indicated on more than one occasion. Also, it seemed to me that she turns her bedside manner off and on. Very unprofessional in my experience. In my opinion it takes more than calling a patient to tell them you have their records to be a great doctor. Stayed too long thinking things would change and they did, they got worse. It is hard to rate the staff because every visit there was a different assistant. Go elsewhere, there are many other excellent doctors in the area outside of the system she belongs to.

I feel so blessed to have found this doctor. I have been seeing her for the past 5 years. When my endocrinologist missed a very critical reading on a blood test I had taken, Dr. Hill-Garrett was right on it. She even called me at home from her own vacation to make sure I took care of the issue immediately. Wow! She often monitors my outside tests better than the specialists do. I trust her sometimes more than I trust these specialists. So far, nothing has gotten past her. She always reviews my history, orders tests that need to be done, and will have her staff schedule needed procedures for me before I even get out the door. When I am negligent in coming in for my yearly check ups, I will receive a call from her staff. Sometimes I hate going in because I know I cannot hide anything from her. She is on top of all of my health issues, as she is with all her patients. It's too bad that all doctors are not like Dr. Hill-Garrett. I'm grateful to be her patient!

I have been seeing Dr. Hill-Garrett for a couple years now. She is thorough and pleasant. She has contacted me after hours many times to give me information or answer questions. I am grateful to have her as my doctor.

She is a great doctor. Refers to other doc that really are not necessary.

I appreciate Dr. Hill-Garrett for her ability to put me at ease, to answer what ever questions I may have, and to explain both what my diagnosis is and what her plan is for treatment. She is very personable and genuinely concerned. I would highly recommend her if in need of a physician.

I think dr hill Garrett is a great doctor, but I believe she is not educated in people that are admitted alcoholics like I am. I've always told the truth about my drinking. I've been sober since 2006. Admittedly with two slips..... This doesn't mean my body doesn't have other problems! I'm 45 years old and am very active. I pulled my MCL... Went to dr hill Garrett and she referred me to another doctor. He gave me exercises to do and a brace. I didn't ask for ant pain killers thinking I could get through it. It hurts at night when my knee is in one position... It pains a lot when I move. Long story short I called hill Garrett and just asked for maybe a little pain killers.... And was denied because I'm an an alxoholic in Revovery. Never had problems with pills! She'd rather me be in pain than help !

I've never had a doctor who listens so much to me. Her bedside manner is excellent. She is not only a thorough and knowledgeable doctor, but also a caring person. I've never had a better doctor.
