Dr. Karen R Houpt

If I could give negative stars I would probably rate her a Negative 100. She is what has kept me away from the dermatologist ! I know I need to go but I had such a horrible experience with this doctor! Everyone else in this practice is lovely. But not her!

Dr Karen Houpt was outstanding in my treatment plan. Not only did she do a biopsy on my face that was directly under my eye she removed a pre cancerous spot and it was healed within a week.

Terrible bedside manners, and could not diagnose my condition.

To sum it up, my skin is a hot mess. I have been to 2 dermatologists before going to Dr. Houpt and each time spent time, money with little results, and frustrated with the organization of the office. when I went to her recently, I was blown away by how patient she was, answered each of my questions, addressed every concern I ever had about my skin. I was amazed at how little i had to wait at the waiting room and at the exam room- they obviously have a very organized office they are running! the nurse that took me in, Pat, was very nice and went with me step by step on my skin care regimen.

I have been under Dr. Houpt forabout 8 years, seeing her every 4 months due tokereoascanthoma, very dry & sensitivethin skin. She knows her stuff and I enjoyed beingher patient. Trusted her implicitly.
