Doesn’t care and doesn’t follow up

I wish that I had read these reviews before taking my child to see Dr Kieserman. If I could give her zero stars I would. She caused so much pain and suffering and just dispenses medications without thinking and following up on the consequences. What is worse than her judgment is her lack of caring. Until we switched to another physician she nearly ruined our child. A disgrace as a human being and a professional.

i can assure anyone reading these that i have only written one bad review and it wasn't bad enough - couldn't be bad enough! BEWARE

I have had a lot of experience with Dr K - she saw my daughter over many years and I only wish i had trusted my gut and i do, in part, blame myself for not switching to someone else. Karen did a tremendous amount of harm by failing to diagnosis her properly, over prescribing medication, total carelessness. She had years of subpar (to say the least) treatment with Dr K and she suffered so much pain under her care. I could write volumes but for now want to let anyone reading this review that she is not at all to be trusted and take a pass! There are many wonderful and trustworthy therapists and psychiatrists on the UWS - no need to stop here!

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews here - I think the same person must have made a couple. Dr. K is great. I have had an eating disorder, severe anxiety and situational depression and she has helped me through it all. She is smart and up to date with everything in the industry. If she doesn’t know something as well as she wants to, she consults her professional colleagues with other specialties. She is brilliant and kind!

Prescribes medications to children without understanding or listening to parents about the terrible consequences and side effects. Completely unfeeling and unrelated.

I would avoid her at all costs with your children. She is uncaring and irresponsible.

A terrible mistake to send my child to someone this unfeeling and careless.

Dr. K is excellent. I had gone to a few therapists before her and was diagnosed with clinical depression but none of them were really able to help. Dr. K was great, helped me work through several issues, and I have never felt better. I really feel that I owe my life to her. Thanks Dr. K!
