Dr. Karen Kobayashi, DO

Doctor sent me 1 bill 9 months after service was rendered. Then followed up with a call threatening to send me to collections because it wasn't paid immediately. This doctor is not ethical in billing standards and does not bill in a timely manner. I would be careful getting treated by her. You might end up with a bill a year later and a collection threat for not paying it "on time". Pathetic

I have been living for 2 years more or less with a horrible condition. I was treated with strong antifungal medications and antibiotics. Wasn't cutting it, because no previous doctor ever took the time to figure out what was wrong with me. Not until I saw Dr. Kobayashi. She took the time to really, (I mean really) listen to me. Dr. Kobayashi said: I am not going to order any medications until we find out what is going on. She took tests. When all the tests came back negative, she didn't stop there, she did a biopsy. The biopsy came back positive for a malignant pre-cancerous condition that at the time was very treatable and had not spread. Dr. Kobayashi called me personally, was very caring and concerned about me getting into a specialist. She referred me to a great surgeon where I had surgery performed. My condition did not spread or get worse thanks to Dr. Kobayashi's due diligence to rise above the standard of medical care. I am very thankful for her because I now have my life… back. I am recovering from surgery as I write this......but thanks to Dr. Kobayashi's skilled medical care and noticeable caring I have a bright and hopeful future. I don't even want to think about what could have happened if it was not for her.

Great doctor! I would recommend office update the out going message to say office hours 9 not 8:30, Also to be able to leave a voice message and receive a reminder message of some sort about patient upcoming appt.

I don't normally write reviews about doctors on the web...but felt compelled to speak of the wonderful experience I had with Dr. Kobayashi. I feel blessed to have her as my physician, and feel very confident that she can help me. A very knowledgeable doctor, who has a very noticeable caring and concern for her patients...I could read it in her eyes. This speaks volumes to the time limits set upon doctors, and she clearly compensates for that, by also a very trained, knowledgeable and caring office staff. They all work as a team.

She was attentive and pleasant.
