Dr. Karen Ann Kuryla, MD

She is a "to the point" Doctor. So knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. Very happy with her as my primary. I am on Medicare.

I have never been happier with my physician. She has truly been a blessing; were I not a Trillium patient any longer, I would try to find a way for her to remain my primary care provider. She is simply that great!

Greatest doctor I have ever had. Many years as a patient, and then losing her when she left Kaiser has made me appreciate her care and concern even more. Wish I was still her patient...those that are....LUCKY!!!

Given the fact that Dr. Kuryla practices with Kaiser, she is a caring doctor with a great bedside manner (very encouraging). She is constrained by Kaiser's rules but attempts to help you wherever she can. She is also not opposed to some holistic practices and often mixes them in with her patient/doctor solutions. I like the fact that Dr. Kuryla listens to what I have to say before she makes a recommendation. We come to a solution together with what works for me and what is best for me. I know she HAS to see a certain number of patients but she tries to convey a sense of "I'm glad you're here, I care about what's going on with you and want to help." I can contact her or her staff by email at any time and usually get a response within 24 hours, if not sooner. This helps me and usually saves me money by not having to come in for a trivial issue.
