She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Periodontology. She has been coordinating the High Point Dental Study Club for over 5 years. She is also a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization.
