Dr. Karen Marie Bader

Dr. Bader cares about her patients and it shows by the time she takes explaining your care and health concerns. She and her staff are friendly and effiecent and always take the time for you so you are never rushed. Would recomend her highly.

By far the absolute WORST, most CRUEL doctor I have EVER seen in 44 years. I fired her the same day she fired me after an all-out argument in her office, calling me a liar for not taking my medication as prescribed. My husband was there and couldn't believe her disrespectful, ego-maniacal behavior either. My first appt after moving to AZ I asked her for a referral to an endocrinologist as, in 6 years, they weren't able to keep my thyroid levels steady. She was HIGHLY offended by my request and said she was quite capable of managing my thyroid levels herself. Well, when my thyroid levels showed inconsistency, she said the only way that could be was because I wasn't taking my medication as prescribed. I was and reminded her that that's exactly why I had requested to see an endocrinologist. She couldn't handle the fact that she wasn't able to manage my thyroid levels and resorted to blaming me (and worse). She has ZERO empathy for patients who are suffering & doesn't deserve to be an MD

My parents and I started seeing Dr. Bader when she was practicing in Apache Jct. and followed her to Val Vista and Southern and then to the Gilbert location. It seemed that as she changed locations her care worsened. Calling to make an appointment for a sore throat and stomach pains was a three week wait. My parents would sometimes have new symptoms when they finally saw her and were told, "you need to make an appointment for that question/concern, that's not why you came in." You're given five minutes to be seen after waiting upwards to 30 minutes in the waiting room. She definitely overbooks her appointments and just wants to make as much money as she can. I slowly transitioned to my own doctor during college and finally convinced my parents to seek care elsewhere.

Unprofessional and most rude doctor ever. Got my money back after advising Dr Bader she was hostile rude and bizarre. She wxpects a separate appt four symptoms? ?

this office needs more staff. They never recieve the faxes from the pharmacy. Every month I have to call several times to get a prescription filled. nobody ever calls back and you have to call repeatly to get any answer.

drWDr. bader has been a good doctor. She spends all the time job need. she has a wonderful bedside manner. she is thorough.

Dr. Bader is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is caring and thorough and follows up on concerns.I highly recommend her

Dr. Bader has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years and I love her. She gives me as much time as I need (not frivilous time) and answers all my questions. My daughter recently (a month ago) became a patient and she also loves her. Wait times are better than most doctors. She discovered I was diabetic before I had symptoms and she diagnosed my arthritis. She is very proactive and follows up with me to make sure I have my vision exams, mammograms, bone density, colonoscopy, etc. current and verifies at every diabetic check that I am doing what I should.

I should have known that Dr. Karen Bader was not a good choice when on my first visit I was told she "has other patients" when I said I had one more question. But no, I gave her another chance and had the worst experience EVER. I was having multiple joint pain and was referred for x-rays. After calling multiple times and being told the results were not in I called the imaging company to check on the status of my results and was informed those were e-mailed the day the x-rays were done. Now a week later I called Dr. Bader's office and was told again that the results were not in. I explained I felt I was not being cared for and my pain wasn't being taken seriously and was told that they will call me "when they can". I then recieved a call from Dr. Bader herself who tried to explain the issue was that "I" did not give the correct information regarding my last name when I checked in at her office. I explained to her that her office made a copy of my insurance card which has my full… correct name and didn't know I needed to clarify my name of all things. All issues were treated as they were my fault and I received no compassion what so ever. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician and I work with them on a daily basis as a career.
