Called and was thorough and explained my results

Keep getting a bill for her for my delivery at Women & Infants, never saw her or any doctor for that matter. They keep calling me expecting payment for someone that I never saw or have met. Already got $1,100 out of my insurance too.

I have been a patient of Dr, McGoldrick for over 20 years. I just had my annual check up and decided to write this review. She is the most caring, competent and considerate Doctor of all of my Doctors. Dr McGoldrick has guided me through some difficult years, always taking the time to address my physical and emotional problems. I highly recommend her for her thoroughness and having the skills and knowledge to be excellent.

Not my usual doctor, but the doctor on duty to deliver the night I gave birth. Upset she had to deliver my baby because her shift was technically over. Could hear her complain to the nurse — the nurse who had basically done all of the work. Left the hospital two days later and within 24 hours was in agonizing pain. Took my doctor two weeks to connect the dots of my symptoms — retained placenta, meaning my placenta came out in pieces and some if it never came out. This can cause infections or even death! Needed two additional procedures over the course of 5.5 weeks to address. How was this not checked as part of the standard delivery process?!

I have known Dr. McGoldrick for many years. She is a talented, compassionate doctor and the treatment I have received from her has always been first rate. You won’t find a better OBGYN in Rhode Island.

I have been going to see Dr. McGoldrick for the last five years. In the time I've seen her as my GYN she has been nothing but incredibly kind, thorough, and a pleasure to visit. I fully endorse her as a GYN and hope to see her for OB in the near future!

My daughter was giving birth at Women and Infants. Unfortunately, her Obgyn doctor was not on call the day she went into labor. Dr. McGoldrick was the obstetrician on duty and my daughter had never met her before. I do not know what transpired, but Dr. McGoldrick was not present when my daughter delivered nor was any doctor. She had been paged but showed up after the baby had arrived. Meanwhile, my daughter had a major tear that could have been avoided. She stitched her up and left without saying anything to my daughter or her husband. She returned later and did say congratulations but how can there be no doctor present when she was pushing for two hours? The nurses delivered the baby. No apologies because I think no one wants to admit fault. Lots of whispering and the recovery nurse the next day knew all about it so definitely something went wrong and McGoldrick, despite years of experience was awful.

Her reviews look better because questions ask about the office staff too. If a patient has no problems and is in and out, they'd be fine as I was initially. However, she does not take the time to keep updated and informed so misses serious health issues. Moreover, her responses to questions are curt and sarcastic. (You will note she's moved around to many hospitals). She totally missed by cancer and never did follow up or kept me informed. I discovered in chemo that another patient had her and with the same experience. Had we gone to a better doctor, we would not be in this situation. Be forewarned. We considered bringing our records to the medical board but she's about the age to retire so probably will soon.

I never met her until the night of my delivery. She acted so quickly when I had my c section. I am so happy she saved me and my daughter's life with her quick decision making. I am forever grateful. Thank you.
