Dr. Karen Barnes Mitchell, MD

DR.Karen B Mitchell was the primary care doctor I chose when I got total health insurance 3 yrs ago however I have never been serviced by Dr Mitchell. Calling to make appointments is something I've never experienced in my life as an adult.First you wait 40 minutes or longer for someone to answer the phone and when they do the staff is so rude and disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!! The same day policy was explained to me that you call same day for an appointment, well not so!!!!! I've attempted three times to make a same day policy. Started calling office at 7:50AM put on hold for 45 minutes, when someone finally take my call I'm told all appointments for same day are full, asked staff well what time do you have to call she said 8AM explained to her that I've been on hold to longer than a half hour, her response was well what you want me to do about it. Asked to speak to office manage, left message for office manager, office manage new called back. Patience are asked to arrive at appointment at… least 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time, well once checked in by medical assistance and directed to exam room it takes the doctor an hour or longer to provide service. I am done with such poor quality of service that I've moved on to another medical provider, until this facility train staff to appreciate and respect patience you will continue to lose patients.
