Dr. Karen Michelle Perl, DO

If waiting for a minimum of 3-5 hours is what your looking for in a Dr then Ms Perl is the one for you. If sitting for hours only to be told by office staff that's she's just not coming in today is your thing then she perfect. If an entire office full of patients being left without medicine for a WEEK because the office didn't get the new required paperwork on time sounds like fun then by all means this office is perfect. This "Dr" shouldn't have a medical license! She only has patients because there are so few federal workman's compensation Drs in DFW. Her patients are terrified to look for another Dr because she'll label the patient the problem. Her office is dirty, her staff is unprofessional & they do not care about the patients. Also they will write "excellent" reviews behind Every bad review to keep there star level from showing the absolute dismal ratings from actual people that have had to see her. I'd suggest just going to her ft worth office & observing a typical day before… you think of making an appointment because I promise you'll leave in shock & horror. I also encourage everyone that's been a patient report her as that's the only way this "bad medical practice" will be shut down.

I have never been treated so poorly! Between the 3 hour wait time just to see the doctor. A total disrespect of your time, being treated like a criminal no matter what, extra charges for any paperwork you may need filled out, and unsanitary office conditions. I'm surprised she is still in business! Shady scam artists

The office staff is pathetic. The doctor is even worse! Prepare to be there a while! Even if you're the 1st patient. Average visit 2hrs. My longest,5 hours, no procedures just an office visit! I went to her for 3 years. She is very rude & unprofessional. When I lost my insurance & had to pay cash and couldn't afford the painful injections anymore she would actually tell me there's no reason for her to see me because she's not making any money off of me anymore! The injections never helped anyway but when you're hurting bad enough you'll try anything. If you complain that the medicine isn't working she will literally cuss at you & threaten to cut you off sending you into severe withdrawals, she did it to me & ive heard her yelling at other patients in the same manor. She does prescribe plenty of medicine though...tooo much! She had me on 9 different Rx's that I took several times a day, most of them very strong and addictive. I switched to a new dr I'm down to 3 Rx's I take up to twice… a day as needed, even though my condition has worsened my prescription regime works fine! I think keeping you addicted to the drugs was her insurance that you'll be back. And she frequently would frequently run out of triplicate to pads, before norco was a schedule 2, and would prescribe everyone 30 days of norco & other stuff then have us come back in a couple of days & trade our unused pills for out normal rx....I'm not sure that's legal??The waiting room would be full of 50+ people with full bottles of pills to hand over!

Dr . Perl and her staff have been like family. In fact sometimes I don't want to even tell her I am hurting cuz that's all she hears I am sure. But due to insurance issues I most likely will have to find another doctor. However she was a real life saver when I needed her and her staff. I can say she is a wonderful doctor and person. Its unfortunate that she has to fight insurance tooth and nail to try and treat her patients.

This individual attempting to impersonate a doctor should be audited/assessed. Karen Perl or whatever her name is and her office staff is the most unprofessional (telemarketer's standard much less a doctor's) people that I have ever encountered in what was supposed to have been a medical practice office (JOKE!) Non-credible, uneducated, unprofessional, unclean, down right close to be being ghetto. I can't imagine that a patient has anything positive to say so I am thinking it is the witch her self or one of her flying monkeys posting or padding with the positive comments. Don't experience this office or staff...you will just find yourself here posting this kind of a review. Disgusted! OH and she has the audacity to make you wait and to oppress your communication; again Disgusted!

Dr. Perl has treated he for c-spine and lumbar disc issues for years, I would highly recommend her to everyone who doesnt want surgery.

She often comes in late. Seeing the doctor should not take up half a work day. The office staff are rude and there are constant problems when it comes to filing and they never return my calls. She treated me with disrespect since my first visit. She is very unprofessional. She makes you feel subhuman with the way she speaks to you. She does not listen to my problems and she tries downplay what I am going through. When I told her that a medicine isn't working for me she called me difficult. She becomes angry towards you for no reason. Becoming injured is a difficult time for anyone and this woman puts you through more stress and depression. I've never met someone quite like this terrible woman she needs to seek professional help.

i went to Dr. Pearl for 6 years i never had any problems i actually enjoyed all my visits and got to know her and her staff very well(good people).i recommend them highly

Dr Perl takes time to listen to my concerns and physical issues. She is very attentive to my needs and questions.... I appreciate all the time she spends with me. Dr Perl is a rare doctor who cares about her patients
