Dr. Karen Lynne Powers, MD

I have had several reconstruction surgeries by Dr. Powers and her amazing team. The love and compassion they all showed me throughout the entire two year process made me a better human being. The level of dedication, is indescribable. When the first operation failed because of the amount of radiation the tissues took Dr. Powers cried with me. They never gave up on me even though my body seemed to want to defy them. The team always came up with a new way to try to make it work. I learned more about what it means to be whole on the inside, and loving myself despite all the scars from my experience with these amazing people than I could ever express. My gratitude for the dedication and love I was shown by Dr. Powers and her team is heart filling. Hopefully I can show others even a fraction of the compassion they showed me.
