Dr. Karen Jane Puckett, MD

I have seen Dr. Puckett for at least 7 years. Never went besides once a year… until I started having medical issues. I learned quickly however tha t Dr. Puckett was in over her head. I have spent thousands in just 2 months (after insurance) for the same repetitive tests. Just to be told “I don’t know”. Today, took the cake. She was so rude and half of her staff. It is unfortunate that I received better care from the military hospital than I did with Dr. Puckett and her team. If you have any medical concerns, go elsewhere! Not worth it!

The only reason we are giving a one star is for Dr. Puckett herself. The office staff are disrespectful, unapologetic, and extremely difficult to deal with. They are rude to the patient and make it a very uncomfortable place to visit. When Dr. Puckett opened her business it was warm, friendly, and offered a safe place for a woman to feel respected and cared for. It is no longer that way and I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice to anyone who values a safe, caring, and professional medical practice. Extremely disappointing for all.

I have been going to Dr. Puckett's office for about 3 years now. However, since another Doctor has joined her in the office there has been some new staff members that have also came along. During my last appointment I did not feel comfortable at all. Some of the staff members attitudes have changed. Maybe its because they have more patients because of the new Doctor who has joined but that is no excuse to be disrespectful to any of the patients. Some of the new techs and office staff members do NOT act professional at all. I do not feel comfortable to be in an environment of unprofessional women when this is supposed to be a positive environment and not all women are comfortable with this type of appointment and this has become a concern for me. If you are just starting to go to a gynecologist I would suggest looking for someone else other than the Puckett office.

When I first saw her I knew I’d found the dr I wanted. She is caring and provides excellent care. Her PA Lauren is just as great.

Dr.Puckett is hands down the best dr! I've been to others who were always a little rough and just jumped in and out of the room. Not Dr. Puckett! She takes the time to grt to know you and really listens to what you have to say. I had been battling migraines and the neurologist were having me try all kinds of medications. I explained my problem to Dr. Puckett and she suggested i come off my birth control. Boom!!! I went from having 12-15 migraines a month to 2 or 3. She solved the problem the neurologist couldnt. I am forever grateful! She remembers what we talked about during my last visits and always asks about it all on the next visit. She makes you feel right at home. Extremely kind and caring.

She has been my doctor for the past 11 yrs. and has seen me through my breast cancer along with other things. She is very thorough, caring and does not prescribe medication unnecessarily. When she enters the room you do not feel as though she is rushing you to get to the next patient, instead she looks you in the eye and gives you her undivided attention. With her quiet sense of humor and the spa like atmosphere, you can just sit back and relax. Love this doctor and I hope God blesses her with many more years of service to her patients.

Dr. Puckett is among the best doctors I have seen in my 61 years. Her caring and patient manner, along with her superior skills is second to none.

Dr Karen Puckett is top notch the very best in my opinion. She is kind, caring, courteous, and more than just your doctor.

dct puckett did my hysterectomy only to find cancer hidden in the muscle lining of the uterus. she was amazing, a surgery that should have taken two hours took four. the day she told me it was cancer, she cried but we got over that and I am here 6 years later. I love her and her staff. I owe my life to dct Puckett and dct Laura Williams, oncologist in Nashville who took over treatments. She says I make her look good. lol

Love her dearly,the staff and new location are wonderful! So proud for her ! Beautiful office, refreshing , relaxing atmosphere !
