Dr. Karen Elizabeth Ruthman, MD

She prescribed inappropriate meds. Had an xray with results indicating "a mass" that needed further diagnosing. Getting a phone call from a doctor's office with test results like that can be extremely unsettling. The receptionist gave me the news. There is no nurse in the office. I literally begged for Dr. Ruthman to call me back - she never did. Horrible care!

Excellent physician No wait Same week appointment

Terrible bedside manner, rude, incompetent, and overall unpleasant. Refused to actually assess me and give me the medication and medical supplies I needed when I was acutely ill. Her staff lied and said that if I saw her that she would be able to give me what I needed and then she refused. She didn't care about the patient (me) at all she did whatever was easier for her. She is lazy and careless. In my opinion she should not even be a doctor.

Dr Ruthman's policy is to call back her patients within the hour. I have called her over 20 times in the past years for my family and myself and she calls back within 30 minutes! Then she makes an appointment for that day. She is truly the most caring, concerned and highly competent doctor i have ever been to. She is wonderful and we need to have many more doctors like her! My entire family and most of my friends use Dr Ruthman and we unanimously agree she is the best doctor we've had the pleasure of visiting. We need more doctors like her, she's the best.
