Dr. Karen Samples, DO

I was given Dr. Samples name by several people who were her patients and was excited that she was a local doctor and thought well of. Soon after I named her as a PCP, I had a medical emergency, which required a CAT scan. Her office flatly refused to give the referral. Lucky for me, my insurance company intervened and overrode her decision - which ended up to be life-saving for me. Now, here we are 2 months later and I need a follow up visit stemming from the C Scan and again, her office is refusing and saying that they don't consider me a patient. Nice. Well Dr. Samples, you got your wish, I am no longer your patient.

I love Dr Samples because she is very straight forward. Tells you what you need to hear even if it doesn't make you happy. She also called me when I had a medical emergency that put me in the hospital when she was not working just to check on me. I was stunned she knew I was there. She is wonderful

I found meeting with Dr. Samples ok but the rudeness of her staff was inappropriate.

I called with a non-emergency concern and they got me in the same day. The reception staff and assistants (nurses?) are so nice! Dr. Samples takes her time in the room with you. I felt comfortable and not rushed.
