Dr. Karen Angela Saroki, MD

Dr. Karen A. Saroki has been my primary care medical doctor for approximately 13 years. I find Dr. Karen A. Saroki to be the most professionally competent and thorough medical doctor in my lifetime. I have been truly blessed By Dr. Saroki's medical knowledge and brilliance. Yet Dr. Saroki also somehow finds the time to be a caring and compassionate family medical doctor. Dr. Saroki has saved my life with quick and astute diagnosis! Dr. George Delgado, partner of Dr. Saroki, is a wonderful doctor also. I highly recommend Dr. Saroki and Dr. Delgado at COLFS. They are exceptionally caring doctors and I will always feel grateful to both Dr. Saroki and Dr. George Delgado. God Bless you both. The doctor's have a wonderful and courteous staff-very nice! It is hard to describe in words how thankful and blessed I am to have found Dr. Karen Saroki after suffering from severe cough, runny nose and weakness for six weeks during this COVID19 pandemic. During these six weeks I was examined by two doctors and one nurse practitioner and was prescribed cold medication, antibiotics, and over the counter allergy meds. None of them healed me. Finally when I was referred to and seen by Dr. Saroki, I was in a state of frustrations, desperation and even had a bad attitude due to the fact that the cough attacks felt like my chest was about to explode and my sinuses were on fire. Dr. Saroki initially performed a COVID19 sampling (came out negative). She spent a lengthy time collecting and documenting information about my condition and any previous related medial encounters. After a detailed examination that clearly displayed her deep knowledge of medicine, she prescribed medication with clear instructions on how and when to take the meds. Within one… day, I noticed the difference in my health and on the second day the cough and burning/clogged nostrils pain disappeared. It was like magic; however, it was Dr. Saroki’s attention to details and her methodical diagnostic approach that contributed to diagnosing my illness correctly. She even referred me to a Pulmonologist to get a full examination for any possible allergies that I may have. That is what compelled me to write this lengthy review. There is more, unlike any other doctor I had before, Dr. Saroki called me on two separate occasions to report findings of lab works and to inquire about improvements in my condition. If she was my sister, I would have hugged and kissed her for such care and compassion.

Dr. Saroki was referred to me by my primary insurance company. She is by far the best doctor I've ever had. From the start, she has been thorough, knowledgeable, professional and caring. She leaves no stone unturned. Specialists she's referred me to have had the same high professional standards. Dr. Saroki has helped me far more than she realizes. I'm lucky, and grateful, especially following a car accident in which I was injured, to have her as my general practitioner. I can't say enough good things about her.

Really disappointing experiences with Dr. Saroki and her staff. Actually, it’s been downright awful. As soon as you walk in the door it’s a madhouse. Waiting room is tiny and the front desk staff is always totally clueless. The only reason we ended up here was our insurance changed and Dr. Saroki was the PCP listed on our new cards. Little did we know we would be requesting a change in PCP shortly after our first few visits. This is a Catholic practice which means they will NOT prescribe birth control among many other things they frown upon. I am disappointed that the insurance company would even refer to a place like this without letting the new patients know. The clinic room walls are covered in anti-abortion posters and religious paraphernalia. Unfortunately, the assistant Minerva seems extremely unqualified and always unprepared. She could not figure out how to use the scale, thermometer, blood pressure cuff. I had to look around to see if maybe I was on candid camera… because she was acting so strange. Dr. Saroki’s “physical” that she gave me included a conversation and listening to my breathing. That’s it. No need to get in a gown, bloodwork, etc. it was bizarre and I felt like I got nothing from it. A few weeks later I went back due to a bad cold that I was worried may be a bacterial infection. After over an hour and a half I walked out of there with a prescription for some “magic mouthwash” that she had an assistant hand me. I asked if they called it in anywhere and they seemed baffled that doctor’s offices would actually do that. After another 30 minutes, the assistant came back and told me she couldn’t get ahold of any pharmacy and that I would have to call around to request it. After talking to several pharmacies that don’t carry that, someone told me to call a compound pharmacy because they would have to make it. Finally I got ahold of someone who told me it would be a few days, insurance doesn’t cover it and it would be about $200. For mouthwash! Thanks Dr. Saroki. Along with a couple of copays and countless hours of my life I’ll never get back, the frustration finally sent me over the edge to request a PCP change. Do yourself a favor and go to a PCP that offers everything, an evidenced based practice, no matter the religion.

Karen Saroki has been our Doctor since my before my husband and I had kids about 13 years ago. She is very caring, kind, honest, sincere, intelligent, loving, personable woman. Her heart is in what she does. We now have 4 kids and we have followed her from one location to another, and have also fought to keep her as her doctor as medical insurances have changed over the years. She is a blessing to our family, and I know that whoever is a patient of hers will receive sincere care from her.

Very impressed by doctor Saroki. She is always up to date and she sincerely care for her patients and never rush me, making sure that all my worries and questions had been answered and to make sure I'm getting the best treatment for whatever ailing me.First she was my sister physician, than my mom's , than my brother's and mine and all of us think DR. SAROKI is the BEST !!!

Amazing doctor. Even though the wait time is a lot, you never feel rushed by her. She takes her time with each patient. I have never had a family doctor who actually feels like me own family doctor. I would highly recommend her.

All the doctors truly care about finding the problem and solution to the overall well being of my health. i have found a place that hears me out and looks for me to have a better life.

Saroki doesnâ??t listen to patients. She does not acquire information through hearing. Iâ??ve seen Saroki â??readâ??. She skim reads and as such bollixes the content so much so that it would have been better if she had no information. Karen Saroki does not acquire information through reading. If Dr. Saroki does not acquire information by hearing or reading, then how exactly DID SHE GET THROUGH MEDICAL SCHOOL? Yeah... Itâ??s called â??social promotion on top of affirmative action cash to medical schools. The entire experience with her repeatedly for over a year was watching her dodge my serious medical issues. I could walk normally before meeting this woman. I canâ??t lift myself onto a curb properly anymore. I have a serious spinal injury with rare neurological complications: Known pain conditions with excruciating and disabling symptoms. She dropped me on my head so to speak. Iâ??m now swollen to between 40 â?? 50 lbs of fluid. Imagine the injury this swelling is… trying to protect. GO get yourself a 24 pack of 16oz waters. Get two of these, one for under each arm. Carry those around with you 24 hours a day. This is stress I donâ??t need aggravating a rare painful neurological disorder causing electric shocks, spinal stenosis, vertebrae growing around the nerve root, 6 herniated discs, 2 torn meniscus, and a spine thatâ??s degenerating to the degree that Iâ??ve lost 5 + inches off my torso. All of which was caused by a severe trauma that left every curve in my spine bent backwards. After ignoring my issues for a year she then panics realizing that people donâ??t suddenly gain 15 lbs in a couple of days. I explained to her that this swelling always happens when doctors completely ignore my spinal trauma AND then decide to crash my endocrine system by treating a number on a page instead of the patientâ??s complete problems. Saroki is a horror.
