Dr. Karen Lynn Scarpa, MD

Disgustingly rude. A failure in ALL aspects as a doctor and does not live up to the title of an MD. I refuse to even call this woman a “doctor.” She is a complete embarrassment to the medical field. Btw, her first name is “KAREN” which is oddly fitting. I am my mom’s advanced care directive, primary care giver and English translator and this so-called “doctor” would not let me get a word in, like wtEff. She kept shushing me and at one point nipped at me thinking I was recording when I was just trying to text my sisters in the lobby to ask them info about my mom’s medication and told me to put away my phone (I did not since she had no right to tell me that). And then when I tried to talk to my mom in our native tongue (her english isn’t that great), this woman gave me the side eye like I was interfering. Like dude I’m trying to get info! We wanted to request an echocardiogram of her heart since it was her 3rd time in the ER within a span of two weeks and she was so disinterested, and… proceeds to tell me the “ER” of all places does not do echocardiogram. I have a hard time believing that. Bleeping h3ll, just order the bleeping echo, I’ll pay out of pocket if I have to! I was so mad, but held my tongue from going off on her sorry peach. Completely unqualified. I hated her. 1 star wouldn’t even be sufficient — zero stars would be more appropriate if that option existed. She needs to frigging RETIRE already!
