She doesn't care about what you say, my child had plynoric stenosis and she just shook it off as all baby's throw up. He had surgery at 8 weeks. With my daughter I was made fun of with her & staff I felt humiliated because I wanted a list of vacc ingredients.

Unprofessional and doesn't seem to care about people as much as she cares about her own opinions.

Does not seem to listen or care about issues being seen for.

Ease of getting an appointment is always difficult and they are not willing to work with your schedule. So they have reserved time slots for well check-ups and I called one morning(30 minutes after they opened) to schedule an appointment for my sick kid who was running a fever along with other symptoms. I was told they had no more available appointments for the day and to give him motrin and Tylenol which I had been and he's still spiking a fever...he needs to be seen! Still denied an appointment for the same day. I mentioned to them that maybe they should reschedule some of the well check ups that aren't urgent so my sick kid could be seen. She apologized again...sorry I don't have anything. No response like, let me take a look at the schedule and see what I can do. SO then I requested to speak with a manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes, she gets back on, Dr. Smith can see you at 8:30 or 11:30 but there may be a little wait. So you went from not being able to squeeze him, to… offering me two different appointments...rather suspicious. The list goes on as to other experiences(from my kid being completely miss-diagnosed to not referring my kid to a specialist when it was necessary and needed surgery). Today was the last straw for me and will be seeking a new pediatrician today! Abigail Fischer, CPNP that works for Dr. Smith is wonderful though and would highly recommend her!!

I cant't say enough great things about doctor Smith. I moved to sidney almost 2 yrs. ago,pregnant with twins and already having 2 toddlers. She was only accepting newborn patients so when I asked her what I had to do to get my other 2 children in as patients, she said "All you have to do is ask". So with having 4 children all in daycare,and including checkups...lets just say we see each other quite often! She has a wonderful bedside manner and is very easy to talk to and doesnt rush you out of her office. My kids love her and her staff as well. Her scheduling is tight but she is in high demand so its understandable. Highly recommend!
