Dr. Karen Esther Victor, MD

If you enjoy being addressed as though you have an IQ equal to your ring size than she is your go-to doctor. She is imperious and insensitive. Her treatment plan was fine but her bed side manner is seriously flawed. There is a reason why a doctor who has been in practice for as long as she has is still accepting patients.

Was with Doctor Victor for at least 7 years and I got a truly negative feeling every time I would have to visit her. She has a strangly misplaced sense of superiority. A doctor is suppose to create an atmosphere of ease and at least make you feel as though they care about you. I don't think she's capable of this. She's actually accused me of lying to her and yelled at me as if I were a child. Just because someone has gone to Harvard medical school doesn't mean they've gained a sense of being empathetic - which, in my opinion - she has not. Her attitude is quite offputting and I breath a breath of fresh air when I visit my new doctor who is much better in many ways. There's so much more I could go into here about this woman, but I won't. I'll just warn you (as will most of her reviews here) seek another doctor before making an appointment with this one.

Uncommunicative, critical, spends ten minutes on the annual physical, simplistic. Not sure what to make of her.

I STRONGLY recommend staying AWAY from Dr. Karen Victor. I was hoping to find a Primary Care physician, as I am new to the area. Because of this, I was late due to my lack of direction I have for the area. She walked in with such disdain immediately. I apologized for being a few minutes late and she scolded me and told me I needed to figure it out. She said she didn’t have much time for me (I did ask if I needed to reschedule when I got there) and continued to mention this MANY times during the visit. She told me that we need to skip the physical and the ailments I needed addressed, then asking me, why I was really there. Her bedside manner is terrible. She was condescending, humiliating and terse. She offended me greatly and went so far as telling me I needed to take a urine test to check for cocaine amongst other drugs that could be in my system…what?? I started crying halfway through the appointment because I was SO shocked (and I am NOT a crier). Her nurse Stephanie was… just as bad. No smile EVER. Snide and bad-mannered to say the least. What a horrible was to treat the patients that make you money. Disgusting actually.
