Dr. Karen Elaine Wells, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Karen Wells. She first did reconstruction on my left mastectomy in 1997. Implant had to be replaced due to a leak. I called and she is still practicing. So happy!! Decided to have right side lifted to match left. I leave everything in her hands. The outcome was amazing!! Very pleased!! She is the Best at what she does!!

I would not recommend Dr. Wells, she did not do a good job for me. When I emailed her a picture (where the right breast is evidently lower than the left) and expressed my discomfort this is what she wrote back: ”I cannot assess the breast implants based on this photo. The implants will drop to the sides if they are large and if there is little tissue to support them from the mastectomies and multiple surgeries. Since you are dissatisfied with my staff and myself, I recommend you follow up with another Plastic Surgeon closer to your home” My implants are a B cup, so I am not sure I understand why she is saying to me that “implants will drop to sides if they are large”- even my oncologist expressed a concern when he saw my breasts practically under my armpits. By the way, this is a second surgery (my previous doctor retired) I had zero problems with my first surgery (10 years ago). So, be careful!!! If something goes wrong with your surgery, you will be told to follow up with another… doctor!!! hoping - closer to your home.

I love Dr. Wells, she is a wonderful doctor. I saw her after a couple of bad breast implant surgeries. She was able to correct them and helped with size, etc. I would see her for other procedures and recommend her to anyone. thank you,

I have had the good fortune to have been taken care of by Dr. Wells during breast reconstruction after breast cancer, and just recently a revision to my old implant. I can't say enough good things about her. She is extremely skilled and does wonderful plastic surgery, is very experienced, and most of all is so kind and caring, and soothing. I hope never to need more surgery, but if I do I would go straight back to Dr. Wells for certain. God Bless Dr. Wells, she made me feel human and healthy again!

She made a sergical error and refused to fix it, or even return a phone call for that matter.

Dr. Wells was highly recommended by my gynecologist who has seen excellent results of her surgeries. My consultation with Dr. Wells was very thorough, and she took time to answer all my questions. I was very impressed with her credentials and experience, and felt confident that I had selected the best plastic surgeon. My surgery was 2 months ago, and I am extremely pleased with the results. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Dr. Wells. She has been very professional and caring at all times, and her entire staff is friendly, efficient and caring as well.

I would highly recommend this doctor for her thorough assessment of your needs and in depth explanation of your options including costs. Her aesthetics sense is flawless.
