Dr. Karen C Wendowski, MD

I had been going to Dr.windowski since I was 14 years old and the recent experience I had with her will be my last. I schedule an appointment to do my physical and to redo my fmla for the year. I have had fmla for 6 years the same amount this whole time because I have a documented condition since I was 8 years old. I was have a flare up this day and as she came in she said to me that she was only comfortable giving me 1 to 2 days a month because people try to abuse the system and she didn’t go to school to just feel out paperwork and that maybe the job I have what I said to say, maybe the job I have just isn’t for me, mind u I can hardly talk because I’m in so much physical pain that I couldn’t advocate for myself even tho this was just supposed to be a renewal. I think spoke to her about getting a letter about get a service animal and she dated that people were coming to her to get a letter just to have a pet were it shouldn’t be, even tho I have a diagnosis panic disorder. How she… was speaking to me made me Very uncomfortable and unwelcome and I’m taking her advice as she said to me “ honey it’s not like I don’t like seeing you, but I could see someone closer to you”. Well yes I will take your advice and never set foot in your establishment again!

Dr. Wendowski is an awesome physician. She does not just come in and check you, she talks to you in terms that are understandable. She tells me what I need to do in a professional manner. I have never had her to be harsh with me and genuinely seems to care about my well being. I recommend her highly. Janet Watkins Wynn

Dr. Wendowski takes the time to listen to my concerns. She is open to dialog and isn't a know it all. She diagnosed a rare disease of mine (very treatable) and possibly saved my life.I would recommend Dr. Wendowski to anyone!

I first met Dr. Wendowski when she was a resident completing rounds with my original Dr. When my doctor's office no longer accepted my insurance, I remebered her, and asked if she was now in practice. That was 8 years ago. She has been my doctor ever since. I have never encountered a Physician with a better bedside manner or genuine concern for me and my needs. She is in one word. AWESOME. I suggest her to my friends daily.
