Dr. Karena Aileen Neri, MD

Dr Neri is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She has been treating our family since we moved here over 25 years ago. She is very personable, thorough, and really listens to her patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Neri as was my mother and other family members. She is kind, caring and compassionate. She listens to concerns and is very knowledgeable. I recently moved but would not change for another physician. The wait time in the office is no longer an issue. My only complaint is that if you call the office you may have to wait awhile to speak to someone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Neri for over ten years. Yes, you may have to wait beyond your appointment time but whenever I had the need to be seen immediately you can be sure she will see you that day rather than being referred to the E.R. or walk in clinic. She takes as much time as needed, is caring and compassionate and I would not even consider seeing anyone else.

Disastrous office. Staff behavior should be reported to administrative department for lack of knowledge of processes and zero compassion. Dr. Neri is so-so at best. She does not do much but refer to specialists which is a process in of itself. Staff knows nothing about the doctors she recommends or anything about insurance and refuses to answer questions. Total “pass the buck” office. Go elsewhere.

Sometimes you have to sit beyond your appt time but that’s because Dr. Neri makes sure that every patient is completely taken care of and has all of their questions and concerns answered before she moves onto the next patient. Just remember while you’re waiting patiently for her that she will have the same care and due diligence for you when it’s your turn to be seen. I have been going to Dr. Neri for 20 years and even though I live good hour away from her office there is no other doctor that I would rather have taking care of me and my family.

One of the worst doctors I've seen. Does not care about her patients nor listen to their problems. I came to her with a serious problem and she did not care! Told me it should be fine and now I am in the emergency room. Should lose her license

I have been going to Dr. Neri for about 9 years now. And yes I do have to wait pretty long at most visits. However, and this is a big however, she listens to what you have to say, rather than sitting at a PC and writing into it as many do, she is smart and compassionate. How many doctors will allow you to come in the same day that the patient calls and 'work' them in? None that I know of, this doctor does and she has done this many times for me. She really listens with intentiveness and care and that is so important to me. SO, the waits are not good or fun, but I wait, bring along reading material and know I am going to be listened to and cared about as best she can. She is still one of the old-time Doctors who cared about their patients.. Could they improve, yes they could on the timing and the waits. They have always provided copies of my records and mailed them out very quickly.

If it is your not making the staff look bad it makes the doctor look bad. I love Dr. Neri and her staff. They are very sweet and they make sure whatever needs to be done to help the patient's it gets done. Yes they have a drank on their desk they are allowed to have a drank. I was in yesterday and they was very professional and made sure we was aware if there was a wait. I didn't see one girl in that office on her cell phone or stuffing food in her mouth. I feel if you do not like the office and do nothing but complain just go somewhere else that fits you. all these negative comments will not help. Over all this office is 100% better since the switch I know there could be a wait but nothing like down stairs. Sometime you have to remember that there is more then just you in the world and you will have to wait.

The Doctor is great. My biggest issue is a staff member. I'm not sure of her name, but I see her in different positions. One visit she is at the front window checking me as a patient in and at a different visit she is checking patients out. Either place she is at, she is always eating some sort of food or drinking something. Worse yet, she has her cell phone on all the time. That is so unprofessional. Looks sloppy, and the cell phone, I have never seen allowed at any of my other doctors offices. How can Dr. Neri let that stuff go on at the desk where patients can see it? Makes Dr. Neri and Baycare look bad!!!
