Dr. Kari Courtney Farris, DO

She is an amazing doctor. Provides comfort, knowledge, and excellent need side manner. I was at complete ease for my hysterectomy. She explains in detail for upcoming procedure .... as well as after procedure updates. Won't go to anyone else!

I was visiting from out of state and had some unexpected issues come up. I met with Dr. Farris and she was overall amazing. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took her time to go over everything with me and met all my expectations and more. She has a very calming personality and I would highly recommend this dr to anyone in the area. Hands down I would switch to her if I lived out here. Her office staff was also amazing and very helpful. I’m so glad I had a wonderful experience with Dr.Farris.

Dr. Farris is knowledgeable, caring and easy to talk with, that makes her a wonderful health care provider.She listens and is always respectful of the patient as a person. I have been a patient of Dr. farris for 4 years! She has a very calming presence, my questions were thoroughly and honestly answered, and she easily inspired my complete confidence during at times of confusion and worry. They always answer all my questions and get us in no matter how busy they are. Appointments run smoothly, staff is friendly, and healthcare professionals are very experienced and genuine in providing care. Amazing Doctor !!

Nightmare: In and out of the ER beginning week 13 of my pregnancy. Eventually delivered at 18 weeks. First child, and it was a boy. Blessed to be pregnant again, and breaks my heart to hear from my current doctor to hear about all the things that should have been done or tested during my first pregnancy. My miscarriage was preventable. Once I delivered, I received no follow-up care, contact or was able to schedule an appointment with Dr Farris. Actions of a guilty conscience

She is seriously an amazing OBGYN. So I had a terrible experience with my first doctor at KU, let’s just say he didn’t care about me. But Dr. Farris is an angel!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend her. She’s the kind of doctor you would travel to another state just so she can deliver your baby. She’s THAT good. I’ve had a very very positive experience with her. I’m glad she’s still in KC.

I have had numerous experiences with doctors and Dr. Farris is by far in the top 5 I have ever seen. She is an amazing listener, works with the patient to find a treatment plan that works for their life and finances, and is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. She may run little late, but that is because she never rushes with her patients and is really there and listening to whatever they need and to me, this is something that is worth the wait! Her nurse and office staff are also amazing and will do anything they can to help you and make you more comfortable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I highly recommend her for all OB/GYN needs!
