Dr. Karim Z Alibhai, DDS

Really felt that I was well taken care of. From the first call that I made to the office to when I left. The whole office was super pleasant

I was referred to Dr. Karim Alibhai office by my primary dental doctor after x-ray shows possible infection under my tooth with root canal. It was end of year and they were very accommodating regarding procedure planning to minimize my out of pocket cost (as I have no problem at time). Procedure was consistent with expectation and I have no paint after it. However only time shows how well it was done (previous doctor missed one canal 8+ years ago). But compared to other dentist offices I get care in last 20 years I feel like Dr. Karim Alibhai office tries to charge as much money as possible. First, they apparently charge 20 USD patient assessment on each visit. This isn’t covered by my insurance as it is not considered to be necessary. I can somehow understand that on first visit, maybe… I don’t see it as reasonable at all on second visit when they did root canal. In addition, they Occlusal Adjustment – which I am sure didn’t happen (doctor simple put temporary filling on and he even… didn’t ask if it collide with upper tooth). When I call their office, they promise call be back. It didn’t happen.

Dr. Alibhai is a highly skilled and experienced professional. I would add to the many 5-star reviews for him and his staff. I called with an emergent tooth issue on a Friday morning before a holiday. Despite the fact that it was supposed to be a short day for the office, I was given an appointment that same afternoon. [Keep in mind that it would have been easy to put me off (no room on a full schedule, only open a half-day, etc.) until Monday.] The pain I was having was pretty acute and pressure-sensitive. Dr. Alibhai quickly assessed my problem with care -- dead nerve in the tooth and infection causing the inflammation and pain. He also displays a very humble attitude and compassionate “chair-side” manner. He is really a very nice fellow aside from being a highly skilled specialist. Dr. Alibhai treated me that same afternoon quickly, efficiently, and with great skill. The office is equipped with all the most modern tools to specifically handle root canal therapy with little… or no discomfort. I was in the office for a couple hours because he was treating others but the procedure was flawless and the resulting relief immediate. Dr. Alibhai and his staff were so thoughtful and took the time to answer my questions. They also stayed late on that Friday to make sure all patients were properly treated. If you are reading this I suspect you are having tooth pain and trying to select a dental professional you can trust. In my view, Dr. Alibhai is your guy. I offer my absolute recommendation for Dr. Alibhai and his practice. I can’t say root-canal therapy is something anyone looks forward to but when you need it, Advanced Endodontics and Dr. Alibhai is the place to go.

I was upset about needing a root canal. Dr. Alibhai was great, he was done in an hour and a half and was open to all my questions and kept checking in with me and letting me know what was going on and what to expect. I really appreciated his knowledgeable and open manner.

Great office and staff, very comfortable place to be.
