Dr. Karim H Rasheed, MD

Dr. Rasheed and his staff are the most knowledgeable staff I have seen. They are all very compassionate.

Always be there when I need them, one time, they used a different pain medicine without my knowledge, however, despite the effect of that, the nurse and doctor Rasheed have been very nice to me.

He's only in it for the money

I have been his patient for two years. He has traced several problems down and solved them.

Highly competent. He is caring, yet appropriately conservative in his treatment methods. His staff is first rate. There is very little wait time for scheduled procedures. Follow-up appointments often involve a considerable wait.

If you have good insurance you will be fine. Then if you agree to do all the shots, injections, epidurals, blocks, etc., you will be better than fine because patients with good insurance, and who agree to all the expensive procedures, will never worry about being in pain again. He will provide medication in abundance.

Unfortunately I agree with another post, if your insurance will not, or stops covering any procedure they will "find a way" to discharge you! Office visits do not generate much income, whereas procedures are extremely costly. Also, one of the nurses, L.M., seems to believe that she is the "prescription police" and tries to intimidate patients. Chronic pain patients already feel bad about themselves as it is without having someone like her treat them like criminals! I believe he has the potential to be a caring, empathetic doctor who can,help CPP's live a more productive life and have a better quality of life. However, as long as he has nurses like her degrading, intimidating, and bullying patients, I just don't see it happening.

dr rasheed has no bedside manner an does noy accurately diagnose you, He tells you one thing and does another and is not honest on reports.

This doctor and his "pain management" is horrible. If your insurance doesn't cover something, they will drop you as a patient. I didn't have any issues until my insurance company wouldn't cover a procedure. Then all of the sudden there was an issue with a drug test I took 5 months prior. He said there was alcohol in the drug screen. I was shocked. I got my records and come to find out the drug test they use can detect if you have had any alcohol in the past 60 hours. Alcohol is legal and judging someone who had a drink or two in the past 3 days in just wrong. This doctor doesn't care about anything but $$$$.
