Dr. Karin Marie Covi, MD

It was clear from the beginning that Dr. Covi had not reviewed the referral office notes from my referring provider before entering the exam room. The information needed to care for me in a professional and positive manner was in those referral notes. After rapid fire questions with little time to answer them, I left the 15 minute encounter confused. This is the most unprofessional 15 minute encounter with a new physician I've ever experienced. I will NOT be back!

I made a new patient appointment for a second opinion and was treated like my presence was a complete nuisance. I was rushed through the entire appointment and was even given contradicting advise. When I questioned her 'expertise' I was met complete discontent. I will not be seeing her again.

Was trying to get some information about a possible treatment for severe reactions to poison ivy that I wanted to come in and pay for. Was asked if this was a "sidewalk consultation." Was so stunned I didn't know how to respond. I had actually tried to visit them when I had my severe reaction last year and was told it would be 3 months as I was a new patient. This was an emergency but they didn't care. Guess I will look elsewhere.

Dr Covi is very attentive and professional. Takes time to explain options. I’ve seen her 5-6 times and her priority is giving me the best treatment. Recommended

I have never been treated with such disrespect as I was with Dr. Covi. She allocated no time to review my problems. She actually ignored me when I spoke and walked out of the room. I was appalled by her dedication to serve her patients.

My whole visit was handled in a professional manner from the check-in to the nurse to seeing the doctor. The wait was no shorter or longer than one would expect in a busy doctor's office, about 10 minutes in the waiting room and 10-15 more in the actual private room. It was a little irritating to have to repeat to the nurse and the doctor what I was there for after having written it down and was on the piece of paper in their hand. Dr. Covi was polite but gave the impression of being rushed. On the other hand, all of my concerns were heard and addressed in a polite manner. Doctors cannot sit around and 'chew the fat' with each and every patient, and they have to discern chitchat from the business at hand. Some are better at guiding the conversation without seeming hurried than others. At the end of the appointment if all of one's needs were met that is a successful appointment in my opinion. I'll go back when I need to go back and save my socializing for friends.

Difficult to get an appointment if you have an urgent need (like a suspect mole). Although Dr. Covi is very nice, she rushes through every appointment to get to the next one. I don't feel like my skin check was thorough (I have a history of melanoma). Should allow more time with each patient in order for all questions to be answered. Will only see you for one issue at a time.

If you have Medicare, run, run, run. She is offensive to us that must use this insurance, accusing me of only coming to doctors " for social visits", and forcing me to sign gurantee-payment forms just in case she worded my problem in such a way that Medicare denied payment. She was hurried, would not listen and interrupted constantly, my office lasted under 4 minutes. Very ego driven..just rude.

Far too hurried. Does not spend enough time with the patient. She is in such a hurry that she fails to look at previous notes concerning visits. Her goal is get you in and get you out in 5 minutes. If you need something done you have to reschedule.
