Dr. Karin Andrea Provost, DO

I do not understand what is wrong with this doctor. She appeared to have no interest in my form of asthma. Her P.A., who I usually had an appointment with, was very attentive and thorough, although I believe she was limited in her background and perhaps in what she was authorized to do. Dr. Provost, whom I saw twice during the course of over a year, had an unprofessional and flippant attitude toward me. I recently got a second opinion from another doctor. His diagnosis was far different from hers. A great relief to me. I think something is seriously wrong with this doctor.

I am in the healthcare field, so I know quality care when I see it. Dr. Provost made me feel valued as a patient truly listening to my concerns. She spent a great deal of time with me reviewing symptoms and discussing my healthcare plan. When other doctors have come up with no answers and accept a non-diagnosis, Dr. Provost pushes forward until she comes up with an answer. After reading other comments, I can say this: if you waited longer than you anticipated it is because Dr. Provost was caring for someone and their caregiver going through a tough time. I hope that one day when you need someone to spend extra time with you after receiving dreadful news, you have a doctor like her to be with you.

I have no idea whether this doctor suffers from extreme hubris or just doesn’t care. I took my mother who lives in an assisted living facility to this doctor and so far we have waited over three hours for her to show up in the examination room. We were told three times that we were next. This practice is a total nightmare.

I have seen 3 pulmonologists trying to resolve my lung issues. Dr. Provost has gone above and beyond to get a true diagnosis and treatment. She and her NP, listen to me, and spent more time with me than any of the others I've seen. She is the best!

This doctor is Not reputable or reliable. Must wait longer than 6-8 weeks for an appointment only to have it canceled. Seeing that they buy medical supplies from China should have been a RED FLAG.

When she treated my husband, she disregarded my opinion about anything even though I was his proxie. Had medical staff at his bedside before he/I signed for procedure to be done. I truly believe that she expedited his death. I would NOT recommend her to treat my dog. If I were a patient that had been sent to her, I personally would get a second and third opinion.
