Dr. Karin Tuve Riggs, MD

It's like going to see an old friend.

Saw her for over 10 years, and she managed to change offices five times. At one point during a physical exam when I was 13 she told me I was "fat". Yet she's massive. It's hard to take health advice from someone who doesn't follow it herself.

I have been a patient of Dr. Riggs for 18 years. All three of my children see her also. I would never want to go to anyone else!! She loves my kids and takes great care of them. She always has time to spend with us and answers all of my questions. She always lets me know that it is ok to call in the evenings and weekends if I need her. She and her staff are wonderful!!

I owe my life to Dr. Riggs. I had 16 surgeries and was referred by an orthopedic surgeon to wound clinic and pain management. Wound clinic was not able to close my wound in 7 years and pain management just kept increasing my narcotics. Finally I told Dr. Riggs I have just had it I want my leg off and no one will help me. She was able to find a surgeon who was willing to take my case because I was stable but if I went off of antibiotics I went septic. I now have a full life that I can enjoy again.

Dr.Riggs is the best Doctor i have ever had.She does not rush you, she gives you her full attention, answers all questions to the best of her ability. If she is not sure of something she will look it up. Her bedside manners are great. There needs to be more Doctor's like her!! I love this Lady, she has helped me so much, I don't know what i'd do without her!!

After going to Dr. Riggs for 15 years I was discharged. I asked for an appointment on Saturday and when I was told they were closed I said that I would have to see another doctor for this problem then. She said she takes exception to her patients seeking care elswhere when what is asked for is impossible. Then when I made a follow-up visit the following week the office refused to see me.

What can I really say. Dr Riggs is great. Very straight forward and honest with everything. She is also compassionate, but gets her job done. Would never see anyone else. Love her and her staff.

Doctor Riggs is the best Doctor I've ever had. She is friendly and down to earth. She always spends time with me and thoroughly answers all my questions. Her manner is relaxed and friendly, which allows me to be comfortable enough to be completely honest. I trust her enough to consider her my friend as well as my physician. I have recommend her to friends and associates alike.
