Dr. Karisa Colleen Schreck, MD

Dr Schreck is one of the most intelligent, kind, caring, and compassionate physicians I have been involved with. She has given exceptional care to my brother who has recently been diagnosed with GBM. She always took extra time to listen and explain things in an easy to understand fashion. I can’t recommend her more highly. I only wish more Doctors were like Dr Schreck

Very poor bedside manner. Obviously is too busy getting two degrees and not reading up on patients history. My wife has been battling CSF leaks and has tremendous headaches. Nobody can help her and Dr. Shreck told her to just "meditate" to get rid of the pain of a crushing headache. I'm sorry, sounds like like she was trying to push aside the case since she did not have a diagnosis. Dr. Shreck, I think you should stay in research and not patient care because your bedside manner is poor. No compassion for the patient at all. You can always tell a good doctor because they have compassion for the patient usually because they have dealt with pain in the past. In this case severe headaches or migrain. You are just starting off too, if your tired of patients complaining of pain, then I would hate to see how you are in a few years after dealing with patients.
