Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Karisa Stancil wants everyone visiting her to feel seen, heard, and valued. In order to accomplish this, she enjoys spending extra time with anyone who needs it, building what she hopes is a professional, yet personal, long-lasting relationship. She sees herself as a patient advocate, realizing the importance of being a thorough historian to properly diagnose and better serve her patients. Karisa works with people of all ages and is passionate about preventive medicine, guiding people toward healthier versions of themselves.
Karisa loves being outdoors, so you will often find her hiking, swimming, or riding her bike. She tries her best to eat as healthy as possible, although she is known to be a “nibbler” of sweet treats from time to time. Her daily prayer time, connection to family and friends, and exercise keep her physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally healthy.
