It's all about the money, not the care!

I have gone to this Doctor on more than one occasion. He diagnosed my Cancer. Yes, this is a busy place, sometimes almost looks like an assembly line. However, the Doctor always checked on me before and after the procedure and before the procedure started. He answered any an all questions that I had. Have no complaints with this Doctor. Thought his personality was fine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Houglum for several years, and I rate the Dr. and his staff as excellent. His skill is exceptional and his staff are equally talented and professional. I have the deepest gratitude to him and his staff, especially his assistant Cody. You could not be in better hands.

Was on time and checked on me before and after my procedure. My procedure went as well as could be expected and I had my results in a few days.

The caring and personality of a of a robot, all this doctor does is order expensive tests, which only came out inconclusive. Office staff is rude and uncaring as well, Felt like I was on a patient conveyor belt.

The painful experience when I did not get any relief from the anesthetic was very traumatic. I did not get any communication from either the Dr. or R.N.. Thankfully I will never have another colonoscopy.

Very good nice kind smart

The doctor did not follow up after colonoscopy exam regarding specific concerns that I had. I received a routine checklist report of the exam with no polyps found checked off. Not appropriate response after my request to look into a few things and report back findings. How do I know that he was thorough enough and didn't miss something OR did the exam at all. My previous docs have all come in after the exam to discuss their findings. I have no confidence in this doctor, Houglum. My precious medical $$ wasted.

He is very rude when he talks to you and very insensitive. He doesn't even bother to look at your chart to find out information about you. He hasnt figured out why I'm sick and doesn't bother to check on how you are even if you were in his office crying in pain because of what's wrong, just says to do another test and come back in months! But says you can see his P.A cuz he is just so busy. How is going months with something wrong and spread out visits going to help find an answer....it won't.

This is the most insensitive MD I have encountered. Seemed to be more interested in getting out for his running appt than finding out what was wrong or how to help me.
