Dr. Karl Joseph Segnitz, MD

Dr. Segnitz managed my son's cardiac urgency/emergency in Urgent Care last month. He transferred him eventually, in a timely manner, to Dominican Emergency care. Dr. Segnitz treated my son with 100% compassion, professionalism, and absolute kindness. He communicated very thoroughly with Stanford, where my son's cardiac issues are normally managed, prior to transferring him to Dominican. Dr. Segnitz is a rare jewel amongst medical professionals. He made this cardiac event as pleasant as it could possibly be, and reassured my son every step of the way that they were going to help him. We appreciate his level of kindness, thoroughness, and professionalism VERY much. Thank you kindly, Dr. Segnitz!

Dr. Segnitz is an excellent listener and also explainer. He warns about his procedures and offers you choices re pain management and other alternatives. His manner is (to my mind) a perfect combination of friendliness, competence, efficiency and humor. You will be well taken care of by this physician.

What a fantastically brilliant personality. This doctor is immediately engaging and really listens to all your symptoms. He’s got a great sense of humor and quickly makes sense of any confusing symptoms. Can’t recommend him enough. Truly a breath of fresh air! ?? Wish he was my GP.

What outstands for me was the time I figured out I had a stone in my salivary gland, thanks to the internet. I went to the Dr.'s on Soquel. He listened to what I'd interpreted and agreed that it sounded like I got it right. That was the 2nd time I'd seen him. He remembered me with the big nasty burn-blister on my toe, looking infected, from a bedwarmer in Japan! And he also remembered me coming in with my 91 or 92 year old grandmom, and I got to meet him then too. He was totally so sweet with her as well!

What all doctors should be; knowledgeable, courteous, professional but personable.
