Very rushed condescending approach. Very text book knowledgable yet ready to give a diagnosis - in a box- within 30 minutes. Return visits complicated- office scheduler- lost.

Dr. DeBeck is certainly knowledgeable about psychiatric disorders and treatment options. However, as others have noted, she is condescending and frequently dismisses patient concerns. She repeatedly asks questions, yet interrupts as you attempt to answer. As a result, she receives incomplete answers to her questions and the likelihood of misdiagnosis increases. If you are in the area, I highly recommend finding a different doctor.

Dr. de Beck was warm, compassionate, respectful, and thorough in her evaluation of me. I was impresed with her knowledge of medications - am feeling much, much better. I would recommend her to anyone.
