Dr. Karla Jane Hansen, MD

I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Hansen for many years and she has always been amazing to me and my kids. This past time we went in for some wart removal and it was a particulary tough situation and my son had quite a few warts on his hands. She went above and beyond and had him laughing by the end of the appointment. She is truly gifted and even in the worst situation she kept my child calm and giggling. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.

Anyone with children should take them to Dr. Hansen. She is AMAZING. She is so gentle with the kids, is completely present while in appointments with you and does NOT make you feel like she needs to rush to the next appointment. She really listens when you have concerns and does not make you feel like a neurotic parent. She is truly one of a kind.

Really surprised to see a 1 star rating so had to speak up on our personal experience. Dr Hansen took care of my 4 kids in Stillwater for several years, until sadly for us she relocated to another town. Our son has had serious medical issues over the years, and there was no one I trusted more to take care of us than Karla. She always knew the right thing to do. She is brilliant, professional, very patient, and my children all adored and trusted her. I was always so impressed that her intuition about things was always spot on. If someone is looking for a pediatrician, we can't recommend her highly enough! It is obvious she loves working with kids- she is so natural with them. Wonderful physician, wonderful person. We miss her in Stillwater!
