Dr. Karla Jeanne Madalin, MD

I have found Dr Madalin to be extremely kind and caring. She asks very good questions and diagnosed me with a previously undiagnosed condition that left other drs stumped and had me feeling not heard. She listened to me, spent considerable time with me, and ordered tests and medications that help my quality of life. She is the best neurologist I have had. I highly recommend her.

Very rude no bedside manner at all. Was angry with me because I didn't get an MRI that was denied by my insurance that she cancelled. Was mad because I didn't take medicine that she prescribed. I have really bad anxiety and she made it worse. She kept bringing up my twitch that ive had since I was a baby. I don't care about that. Thats not why i was there. I cried the whole way home and was emotionally exhausted.

She has absolutely no compassion at all. She acted put out at my appointment. Terrible bedside manner. I left the appointment angry and crying by the way I was treated.

met with Dr. Madalin today. She was not personable at all. She didn't take the time to hear what was being said when asked a question. She read answers from a questionnaire but when we tried to speak, she said this is what you wrote and that was that. Very unhappy with her and will not be going back. I'll drive downtown to UH's main campus if I have to in order to get a Doctor is truly interested in what the patient has to say.

Is not really familiar with my specific condintion, but acts like she is.
