Dr only cares about money and office visits. Very unprofessional walked out of the room on us.

Always, always seems to be at least 1 hr behind schedule.

This place treats you like you have the plague if you have an HMO. WE have Gold BXBS of TX HMO. Ramsey said there were no endocrinologists in area for my insurance. Checked the network and found 30 in Houston area, 7 within 8 miles of me. Our autistic daughter gets speech therapy. Would not return call of provider for almost 2 months for referral. This almost cost us coverage for 6 weeks, but provider was able to overcome their obstructionist tactics anyway. She has been good at dealing with daughters constipation, but office gets F for dealing with BXBS Gold HMO with the biggest network of providers of any HMO in the state. Anytime they have an issue, call us and have us work it out, which we have, yet they complain about our insurance every time we go there, which is 4 times already. They say they are not in Network for HMO's, but insurance company still lists them. We went here because many recommended Ramsey, not realizing how much they hated all HMO's even when the Network is… great. Luckily, there are 40 other PCP pediatricians in the Network too, many within a few miles of us. Changing will be a pleasure indeed.

She is ok as a Doctor. The bad thing is that when she is not available the other Doctors in her office have never given me the correct diagnosis on my son. They are terrible. The people in the office are rude and the waiting time is too much. It doesn't matter what time you choose It will always be something between 20 to 45 minutes. I am switching doctors.

Saw Dr. Ramsey after two people recommended her because she has children with neurological issues and supposedly she was a pediatrician who would be sympathetic to my son's neurological issues. First visit wait time was more than an hour and a half to get into exam room and another 20-30 minutes in exam room before doctor showed up as we were on the verge of leaving and demanding our money back. I'm really tired of doctors who act like their time is so much more important than yours. Second visit wait was about 45 minutes after I'd told them we had another appointment afterward and either had to be seen promptly or would not schedule for that time. They assured me that consultation appointments ran right on time. Not true. They also mistakenly classified our first visit as a sick patient visit, rather than a new patient visit. Doctor was sort of compassionate -- told me all about how she was so compassionate because she had kids with issues herself. However, she also argued with much… of what I told her about my son's diagnoses and history, claimed to be familiar with my son's medications and then made statements clearly showing she was not, tried to interpret negative test results as positive, and tried to assume authority for things better handled by my son's neurologist. All I was looking for was a pediatrician for basic things like colds and fevers and immunizations and check-ups, and she wanted to advise me on a lot of things that just aren't her responsibility and which she obviously isn't very knowledgeable about. Also, she has some of the grimmest nurses I've seen. No one other than the doctor smiled the whole time we were there. The office has very kid-friendly decor -- doesn't seem like the staff is as kid-friendly. We're moving on.

The last 3 times I've been there it took over an hour and a half of waiting for even simple things like vacines or a follow up ear check. The Dr and CNPs are good but the wait is too long. I've tried to schedule at different times but the that doesn't seem to matter.
