Dr. Karlene Elloween Sinclair, MD

Dr. Sinclair is very attentive to her patients. She takes her time and makes you feel comfortable. She explains what she's doing & assure you understand what's going on. Just an all around great doctor. I've recommended Dr. Sinclair to several family and friends. By far the best I've came across. You will not be disappointed.

She removed my gold bladder and I’m feeling better . I was scare to have the surgery and when I talk to her I decided to go through the surgery so don’t be worry to go with her she’s very professional.

She is concerned with the care of her patients. I have been here in Florida for 16 years. She is the only doctor who called me at home to follow up on my situation after I had a breast biopsy with her within that week.

Dr Sinclair and her staff are wonderful to meet with. Very pleasant and professional. I mentioned her and her staff to my hair stylist. Apparently, her friend had same great experience as my sister has had. We would most definitely recommend her to our family and friends.

I have a history of lumps in my breasts. I recently found one while doing a self exam. I was glad my family doctor recommended Dr. Sinclair. I was able to get an appointment in her Clermont office right away. She examined me and scheduled a biopsy in her office. It went well, but she found I had more growths. I am now scheduled for surgery to remove the more superficial lump. Dr. Sinclair answered all my questions and she has good bedside manner.

Recently, I was referred by Dr. Sinclair by my new family doctor for a small, painful lump in my left breast. I am in my mid-30s with three children and a history of various cancers in my family -- so I was scared. Dr. Sinclair did a brief, but thorough exam on me, followed by a biopsy performed in her office a week later. The room I was in for the biopsy was very clean, instruments sterile and she used a sterile technique. Thank God the results were great -- a benign, fibroadenoma. I said for the beginning, I wanted it out, so that is the next step in the near future. I have worked with many doctors and medical staff in a number of situations, and on "both sides of the table". She is very much a surgeon, with a serious, firm, yet understanding bedside manner. She is direct and to-the-point and very knowledgeable. She doesn't strike me as a doctor that participates in a pity party either. I appreciate her professionalism, and would honestly prefer a doctor that is more… professional and direct than one that is so soft that it seems as she/he is overcompensating for a professional/technical short-coming. Her staff was professional and nice. It seems as if it is a family type atmosphere, as there were children accompanying her, and interacting with the staff, as she entered the building the last time my husband and I were there. It is obvious by this small, yet intimate observation, that she is a compassionate, family oriented person. I do not expect that same intimacy with me, her patient, as I observed with her family, but it is very nice to have witnessed her on this intimate level. As a whole, yes, I would recommend her and would return to her office again, should the need arise (although, I hope it does not for my sake). She is a great doctor and should be very proud of what she has built for herself!

After I was diagnosed with lumps in my left breast and horrible pain under my arm and through my nipple, of course I was afraid. The doctor at first was concerned, curtious but very short. It took forever for the surgery and she was agressive for the diagnosis and I have to say I am glad that there was NO cancer! But 1 1/2 yrs later, I still have major nerve damage and pain. Her staff was always rude, so that never changed. She damaged my shoulder during surgery by Hyperextending it and caused brachilplexis ( not sure of the spelling of that right now) damage and other small nerve damage. Numbness and tingling from the tips of my fingers and swelling up and through my face, with spasims. But I am alive....but would very hesitant to recommend her to anyone. But she is aggressive and will get out infected/diseased areas.
