I was experiencing an aortic dissection. Dr. Mudy was honest in telling me the odds which weren't good but he also said that he would give me the best of care and increase the odds when and where he could. I'm here today and by the grace of God Dr. Mudy was called to provide my care.

Just saw Dr. Mudy on KSTP regarding the new heart in a box technology. 5 years ago in May, Dr. Mudy performed emergency triple bypass on me. Seeing him on TV tonight, and his associates was awesome to see. Still to this day, I will never forget him, what he did for me with his knowledge, expertise and attentiveness. I never felt more comfortable and confident with him, his team, and being at Abbot Heart institute. May God continue to bless you.

Dr. Mudy did a very complex and lengthy surgery on my heart/aorta. He did a fabulous job and in speaking to me later, he was careful to make sure I understood the procedure and follow up. He was also approachable and kind. I would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon again.

Dr. Mudy is direct, forthright and exudes confidence. Going into surgery for aortic valve replacement and double bypass, I knew I was in good hands. Thank you Dr. Karol Mudy. Thank you Abbott Northwestern.
