Dr. Karoline Suzanne Puder, MD

It seemed as though Dr. Puder was being willfully difficult during many of our discussions- dismissive, impatient, and intentionally cruel. After expressing deep concerns over finding out I was pregnant at four months, she said a reasonable person would deduce she was pregnant, and that several of the things I was doing to care for myself and child were too little, too late.

I can not stress enough NOT to go see Dr Puder unless you want a lecture about having an abortion and everything that can and will go wrong during your pregnancy and delivery. She must be a psychologist too bc she tries to give marriage advice as well. This was the WORST experience I have EVER had with a maternal fetal medicine doctor while pregnant, and I can not believe that Beaumont hospital would keep someone like this employed. Shame on her for the way she practices medicine. It’s absolutely appalling that someone who is suppose to help you through your pregnancy and make sure you have the safest outcome for you and your baby(s) would basically leave you feeling like there was absolutely no hope. Which by the way,....NOTHING she tried to scare me about or bully me into believing ever came true.

Dr. Puder was an incredibly patient and empathetic physician. She presented complicated information in an easy-to-understand way and was extremely kind. I highly recommend her!

She has been my doctor for my babies and she didn't changed the way she treated me after the first baby. She really listens and is genuinely concerned. Doctors like that are gems.

Dr. Puder has been my doctor for over 9 years. She is very knowledgeable in her field and she is very experienced and she treats you like a friend. She is always available for you and if not, she has great staff to help, such as her nurse Marlene, who I personally give 4 stars. I have never had a negative experience with Dr. Puder and she's delivered my three babies. She listens and she cares about her patients.
