The doctor was wonderful with my son, and eased my mind that we were on the right track and doing what we needed to for his health.

GREAT!

He saying what is "wrong" with my child without even testing her is unsatisfactory. He didn't ask a lot of questions. I felt he pushed my concerns to the side.

I absolutely love how much he listened to me, took into account my son's needs, and just genuinely was open to my questions and thoughts. It was very refreshing to feel seen and not be talked down to.

Drove 2 hours to see dr and he didn't seem to care about our concerns, barged in room without introducing himself or knocking, said he was a normal child and we'd do tests for just incase but Dr didn't ask any questions about our son just assumed and said he was "fine" tWhen we brought up our concerns- this was our first time meeting him. He was in room about 3 minutes max and didn't even look at our paper work with his history that they had us fill out. Would not recommend

I was very disappointed in my visit with dr gammeltoft. Quite honestly I have no idea what he gets paid to do. We went in since my sons concussion symptoms have not gone away in over 6 months and he even said that most are better in 1-2 months but the only thing he could tell me was ‘time’. Every time I brought up other options that my husband who is a doctor researched and found research articles about possible benefits, dr gammeltoft just said ‘I wouldn’t was your money, it’s not real science’. He couldn’t even tell me foods that would help the brain which only takes a quick google search so a neuro specialist should know it in his sleep. No wonder people turn to alternative medicine though when the specialist has nothing to offer. He was also degrading and clearly not supportive of our life choices like homeschooling. But I feel like I got more advise about that than anything neurological. Also got the comment others mentioned that my son ‘looks totally fine to him’ even though my… son started experiencing one of his headaches during the visit, but ‘everyone get headaches.’ Biggest wast of time and money, please go find a doctor who cares and is up to date of current treatments rather than this outdated and irrelevant man who holds a title.

We saw Dr. Gammeltoft I would recommend to avoid his care at all cost. 1. Our child was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder all her records were sent to him prior to the appointment and she is currently in OT -Dr. G - "expert" evaluation "she would never qualify for any type of diagnosis she is just manipulative and controlling". - we countered by showing him her records he had not reviewed and proceeded to stumble saying well she just needs to be put in school 2. We went to get a specific referral for a specialized neurologist- Dr. Gammeltoft said "there is no such thing and she probably just has autism (nonchalantly) We proceeded to tell him there are mutiple doctors who have ruled that out and ask him why there was a on the whim diagnosis . He did not respond 3. I showed him a website for the neurologist he continued to hem and haw and still would not provide a referral. 4. This was 15minutes and anout 400 dollars no medical advice was given, he… was uninterested in our child's medical history (also unaware) and refused to provide the service/ referral we were there for. Zero medical advise was given judgment and whim diagnosis were gladly provided. I could not imagine trusting him with a scalpel.

My son was seen by Dr. Gammeltoft. He told me that my son was manipulating me and needed a psychiatrist not a neurologist. My son was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome by a neurologist at Vanderbilt. That’s a very big difference. Drive to Nashville before seeing this guy!!!! No wonder you can get an appointment quickly!!

My grandson sees Dr. Gammeltoft and I am pleased. He likes to talk with the child, if possible. He answers any questions I may have.

For a person that is meant to work with people he has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. He was so rude to my girlfriend to the point that she is afraid to come back. He is arrogant, has no compassion, he makes fun of people with disabilities and does more damage then good. If only the medical profession could monitor this person. I really strongly suggest you drive as far away as you can to find an alternative doctor. He works with children and is rude. Why would someone make fun of a child.
