Dr. Kartika Bhardwaj, MD

This appointment was a complete waste of my time. Dr. Kartika Bhardwaj spent more time talking about herself and her 20+ years of experience than actually listening to why I was there. Every time I tried to explain my concerns, she would interrupt me and somehow turn the conversation back to herself. What should have been a quick appointment ended up taking around 40 minutes because she kept going off on unrelated stories. I left feeling like my concerns didn't matter at all and that I wasn't heard. I came to see a doctor for medical advice, not to hear about her personal experiences. I left the appointment with no confidence that my concerns were taken seriously. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Kartika Bhardwaj. If you're looking for a doctor who actually listens to you and focuses on your health, this was not my experience at all.

I have never had such a terrible experience. She makes me not want to see a doctor in the future. Lack of understanding and empathy. Very bad.

She is a "go by the books" doc. No intuition, no looking at things outside the box, not able to see the big picture. Rules are rules. Doesn't understand that unnecessary extra medical tests can be invasive, expensive and time consuming. It's all about covering her butt so she doesn't get sued. Definitely not what a helpful doctor should be.
